Horsie is not very fond of sleeping...
Sleeping apparently is for well..nocturnal bushbabies maybe...
Horsie gets PLAY attacks.
We have a disturbing way of parenting...you see since Horsie was small, he seemed to prefer the company of his nana, at night. he likes her pink bedroom, her queen sized bed, and in fact, her special pillow too.
Horsie turned 5 in September last year, and we still cant seem to shake his love of his nana's bedroom, he clearly asscoiates it with sleeping, and so it becomes nana's bonding time...when he decides to have these play attacks.
For some UNKNOWN reason, he at times will wake up refreshed and ready to play...at 1am or 2 am or 3am...and then...
Well then poor NANA (my mommy) has to PLAY, and Horsie will tug at her ears, kiss her nose, bop her on the head, whatever it takes to wake her and make her join him!
This you can imagine aint pretty at these "deep REM sleep" hours...and yet in all of this our NANA does it...why ...and how...
Even I cant understand...it goes beyond LOVE...
She is our angel and she is my Horsie's playmate...
Life in the this twin household, may be TIRING but always interesting...always funny, and always blessed!
I cant keep up...but thank goodnes for God and his angels for blessing me with a fit, funny, and fabulous mommy who can!

Every day more and more children in South Africa are born with Autism.
Cullen was born 15 September 2006...
Children with Autism dont show emotion, dont make eye contact, dont play, dont interact, often have problems with Speech and fine motor control...
Cullen continues to challenge himself and conquer all of this...
The Challenge - SPEECH and FINE MOTOR CO-ORDINATION, MORE PLAY, MORE INTERACTION...
Follow our journey, our challenge, our triumph, our lives...
