SQUISHY BITS...

Ok so when you start to read this post, you going to probably either smile to yourself, and say THANK GOODNESS, my child doesnt do THAT, or you going to laugh til you cry, or you going to pull that squishy face when something is YUK...

Dont say I didn't warn you...

Horsie has this uncanny ability to squeeze, rub, pull, pinch, mush, his bits with anyone else's bits that is willing to participate...

What bits?

The bits that are your most ticklish, sensitive, and UNUSUAL - how UNUSUAL of this family...

He likes to rub his hands under your armpits (now at 5pm after a long day, that may not be the best place to place his gorgeous hands...)
He likes to use his chin to give himself deep pressure on your back, your head, your boobs, or even a kidney (OUCH!).
He likes to bang your neck back, and feel your neck, your OESOPHAGUS in fact, really FEEL it... and yes pushing your head back to that unnatural position is uncomfy, and then feeling your oesophagus well...it does not smack of FUN for you the recipient...but for him its the DELIGHT of his day!

yesterday was MOMMY day for Horsie...he just needed me to bump and push, pull, squish, and give him deep pressure (lots of hard tight hugs too!)

oh and on occasion I get the odd hand in my bum crack too...

Who says its not exciting raising this gorgeous HORSIE!!!!!!

We survived!!!

Almost every 6 months Horsie gets to be the fortunate or unfortunate human pin cushion...

We get bloods taken to check all sorts of goodies/baddies, and plain and simple FBC (Full blood count) to see if our supplementation is on track, and where we can tweak, and where we add or take away.

If I took a photo of the supplements Horsie was on when we first started this challenge...it would be chaotic, and Dr Lindenberg has really tried her utmost to streamline the "SMOOTHIE" packed with everything in the morning and evening!

So every 6 months or so in addition to any other FREAKISH accidents or happenings...I go into WARRIOR MODE, to try salvage what is left of my heart, in order to get through this whole blood taking process.

You see Horsie is NOT too keen on being strapped down, held down, sat on, arm held straight and tight, and basically harassed in order to get between 10-20ml of blood for testing! In fact he becomes HULK...only he turns red not green, with anger and seems to generally not want to be around his transgressors (me usually) for a long while - while he gets over this FORCED blood taking procedure!

And all this...makes me CRINGE! Its as if the that doom music, you find in some of the old horror films, plays continuously in my head, and with each hour before the impending doom, it gets louder, and my heart beats faster, because ME...mommy, must knowingly, forcefully, unhappily hold my own boy down, sweating, kicking and screaming whilst, they prick him, and extract his beautiful life blood from him.

I HATE IT!!!

My heart shatters every time...and it takes me MUCH longer to get over it, than Horsie.

HE is courage on FIRE!!! He bounces back, and is so resilient. HE is my super hero!
So once we leave, the blood is drawn, and we head home...

My heart starts to recuperate just in time for the next blood sucking, heart wrenching test!

Nothing like it!

But we survived this round!

                                                                 WELCOME 2012

I have been far too quiet on this blog, which only means a couple of things, either we were having far too much fun, were far too busy or both - its both! This year is already well into January, and this is my first entry for 2012...better catch up.

This "Year of the the Dragon" (Chinese New Year) officially starts on the 23 January...and if you have already failed at your new year resolutions, you can try again after the 23rd, and it could still count...however if you are like us, we HAVE NEW YEARS INTENTIONS and not resolutions.

1. PAINT and install wood laminate floors - to minimise dust (eliminate risks of asthma, mould and the other toxic goodies that come with having carpets! )DONE tick tick

2. POTTY TRAINING FOR Horsie - Got the programme from our new friend Juliet, and well...we just want to settle in our (MADE OVER HOUSE) and start school, and then we kicking this into HIGH HIGH COURAGEOUS GEAR!

3. TALK TALK TALK - this is the year of WORDS for our Horsie. Miss ladybug is going to help here, because you see she is over taking on her 3500 word allowance per day and to get any head way, our Horsie is going to have to start getting his WORDS out!!!!

4. GOLF day - YEAR 2!!! We want to have a beautiful successful wonderful Golf day again in May/June - will let you all have the details as soon as they are confirmed!

5. WORK PLEASURE SANITY BALANCE - HAHAHAHAAHa ok we going to try!!!

6. HOLIDAYS - now that ladybug has become such a BRAVE extraordinary girl overcoming her sheer dislike and fear for the sea, we can try beach holidays, and really enjoy our time together!!

7. HEALTH - BETTER WAAAAAAAY BETTER HEALTH THIS YEAR! Preventative rather than curative! Watch out viruses, bacteria, toxins, candida, flu, colds, aches, pains, allergies - WE ARE GOING TO KICK YOUR *&^&^%$^&.

8. CONNECTION - Experience life fully, try to live more in awareness and in tune. REST a little (IF POSSIBLE)
